A sniff of jazz, touches of bluegrass, some latin and heaps of fun
Bluewire is een vocaal en instrumentaal kwintet met thuisbasis Turnhout (B) Geen groter speelplezier dan naturel! Voluit akoestische ‘garden music’ uit diverse bronnen: van Stephen Foster tot Willie Dixon, van de Rolling Stones tot Los Lobos, van Mariza tot Tish Hinojosa, van Bob Wills tot Byron Berline. Met stevige, straffe arrangementen, zodat Bluewire verre van een cover-bandje is.
Bluewire staat open voor nieuwe combinaties. In voorbije projecten werkte Bluewire samen met Flor Verschueren (accordeon), Marie Koop (zang), Rob Joosten (banjo, toetsen), Rob Koop (foto's), Galley Head (Irish roots), Pieter Verkuylen (dobro, banjo) ...
